Fox’s Field 24hr Bioblitz

Starting at 2pm on Saturday 13th June, there will be a 24hour Bioblitz at Fox’s Field. The intention is to explore the biodiversity and record the results on the iNaturalist and Merlin apps. This event is being organised by the TTW Wildlife Group.

There will be different sessions during the bioblitz. From 2pm on Saturday we will be looking at plants, butterflies, grasshoppers & other invertebrates, river-dipping & reptiles. At 9pm on Saturday there will be a bat walk using bat detectors. On Sunday from 05.30 we will be there for the dawn chorus and looking for small mammals and moths.
