The Welly2Wivey Corridor Wildlife Map
Using iNaturalist
This map shows the Welly2WiveyCorridor Project - Wildlife observations recorded from the start date of March 14th, 2025, by members of the public in their parishes, verified by naturalists. The project uses the wonderful iNaturalist App for anyone curious about the plants and animals around them.
To join the Welly2Wivey Corridor click here!
We encourage you to join your parish project as well. Your observations will be automatically added to both. Just click on your parish within the main Welly2Wivey Corridor project.
Historic observations can be found in iNaturalist by exploring the site and looking here...
If your parish isn't represented and you feel that it should, add your wildlife to iNaturalist and let us know!

If you are managing a piece of land for wildlife, from as small as a garden pond to as big as a woodland, we would love to include it on this map. Together, by encouraging the growth of biodiverse habitats we can support the movement of wildlife. The more reserves we nurture, the richer the wildlife corridor will become. We can all do our part - from making hedgehog highways through our fences and building fish-free ponds, to laying our hedges and including margins in our field plantings.
We encourage you to join the Somerset Wildlife Trust's PCNR network - a community of people with reserves like yours, sharing support, knowledge and experience.
