With two farmers going head-to-head at Wilveliscombe Town Hall on the 16th of October in 'Derek vs Derek', a new Hedge Group forming around Wellington, and the Somerset Preparedness Day on the 21st, October is focused for farmers. 2026 has been as tough a year as ever for our nation's farmers. From government policy, market forces and the weather, farming is under pressure from all sides. Here are some opportunities for farmers and their neighbours to share understanding, build knowledge, and discuss how we might protect and save farming Britain.
